Instruction for Use
- State of the substrate: It must be clean of dust, grease, paint residues, plaster and foreign bodies.
- Preparation of the substrate: Loose or poorly adhered particles shall be removed, so it is recommended to clean the surface to be waterproofed. If necessary, the surface will be regularised with a mortar that will be properly trowelled.
- Type of substrate: Revestidan Fibra gris can be applied on porous surfaces as well as on polished and slightly porous surfaces.
- Drying time: It depends on the ambient temperature, sunshine and relative humidity. Minimum recommended waiting time between coats: Wait about 24 hours.
- Application tools: It can be applied by brush, wool roller (short pile) or airless. Application temperatures: Revestidan Fibra gris should not be installed when the temperature is lower than + 5 ºC or higher than + 40 ºC.
- Substrate temperature: Between + 5 and 35 ºC.
- Before use, shake the product until it is perfectly homogenised.
- Apply a coat of primer, with a brush or wool roller, diluting Revestidan Fibra gris in the proportion of 3 parts by volume of the product to 1 part water, making sure that it penetrates well into all cracks or fissures.
- Once the primer is dry (approximately 24 hours after application under normal conditions of temperature and relative humidity), apply successive coats of Revestidan Fibra Grey undiluted until a coverage of 2 kg/m2 without primer is achieved (minimum 2 coats without primer).
- Do not apply a coat until the previous coat is completely dry.
- It may be necessary to reinforce the singular points with a synthetic fabric reinforcement.

Drying time to touch, approximately 4 hours in normal conditions of temperature and relative humidity. Drying time between coats, approximately 8 hours in normal conditions of temperature and relative humidity.
- It may be necessary to reinforce the singular points with a synthetic fabric reinforcement.
Warning
- Clean tools with water right after finishing. If there is solid dirt, we recommend scraping it off.
- Do not apply when there is a risk of rain or frost.
- Do not apply a coat until the undercoat is completely dry.
- Do not use in places in permanent contact with water, either through condensation, storage or waterlogging.
- Do not use as a waterproofing system for roofs with heavy protection, paving, gravel or topsoil.
- Not valid for waterproofing buried walls. In these cases we recommend DANOCRET® Protect Flex.
- Weatherproofing product for the waterproofing of non-accessible roofs, which can be occasionally accessed and where the product serves as a finish and termination.
Handling, storage and preservation
- Store the product between 5°C and 30°C for a maximum period of 24 months.
