Single-component water-based acrylic waterproofing coating with high elasticity and flexibility, with excellent water and liquid tightness in general. Strong tensile strength and elongation at break. Extraordinary resistance to ageing, abrasion and perforation. Good homogenisation of the product and easy application. Weather and UV resistant film. Excellent abrasion resistance. Good crack filling and resistant to micro-cracking. Increased mechanical strength with the use of glass fibre mesh. High elasticity and flexibility. Excellent durability. Suitable for preventing water seepage on terraces, roof terraces, roofs, expansion joints, downpipes, etc. In the repair of areas with existing cracks or with a tendency to form.
Instruction for Use
Before applying the product on the substrate, make sure it is dry and clean of solid remains and irregularities. Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C or above 30°C, or when there is a risk of rain within 48 hours. Apply by roller. First repair cracks and apply DANOBAND® Butyl, Elastidan PU 40 in the corners. Stir until perfectly homogenised. Dilute the first coat 5-10 % with water. Apply the second and subsequent coats undiluted, crosswise to the direction of the previous coat. The application can be done by brush, roller or spray, after shaking the product and dilution. The tools must be cleaned with water before the paint dries.
