COLAMINATED PROFILE C
Colaminated TPO metal sheet with 90º angle
Product variations:
BBA 14/5118 (1)
A metal sheet laminated with TPO with 90º angle, used as waterproofing finishing in low parapets, bevel edges or concrete slab edges.
Scope
- The attachment of the laminated profile to the horizontal plane may vary depending on the characteristics of the substrate.
- Used to finish the waterproofing on the crown of low parapets where the height above the roof finish is less than 20 cm, as well as on descending parapets or slab edges.
Advantages & Benefits
- Compatible with all synthetic sheets in the NEXALON TPO range.
- Facilitates the finishing of the membrane in this type of work unit.
- Provides highly reliable welding and tapping.
- Solves the connection at low, descending parapets or slab edges in a safe way.
Instruction for Use
- The surface of the base substrate must be resistant, uniform, smooth, clean, dry and free of foreign bodies.
- It is fixed to the substrate by means of mechanical fasteners spaced approximately 20 cm apart at the most.
- The sheets of the NEXALON TPO range are welded to the colaminated metal sheet by means of hot air, resulting in a highly reliable weld and finish.
Handling, storage and preservation
- The product must be stored in a dry place protected from rain, sun, heat and low temperatures.
- The product will be used on a first-come, first-served basis.
- This product is not toxic or flammable.
- Easy to cut to adapt the dimensions to the work.
- Waterproofing work must not be carried out when weather conditions may be detrimental, in particular when it is snowing or there is snow or ice on the roof, when it is raining or the roof is wet, surface dampness >8% according to NTE QAT, or when a strong wind is blowing.
- No welding work should be carried out when the ambient temperature is lower than -5ºC for hot air welding, nor lower than + 5ºC for welding with Adhesives.
- It shall be kept in its original packaging, in a horizontal position and all rolls parallel (never crossed), on a flat and smooth support.
- The presence of moisture may cause whitish stains (white rust) that could compromise the adhesion of the polyurethane and lead to deterioration of the coating.
- The sheets and coils must be processed within 6 months after shipment, using the most suitable equipment to avoid abrasions on the coating surface or cracks.
