ARGOREV PIEDRA is a single-coat mortar finished with sprayed stone for façade cladding based on white cement, selected aggregates and organic additives that give it an extraordinary thixotropy, adherence and high aesthetic level finishes.

Descriptive Memory

The single-layer façade cladding work will be carried out with ARGOREV PIEDRA dry mortar, from the Argos cement derivatives company, class OC CSIII W2 according to the UNE EN 998-1 standard. The substrate must be sound, clean, free of friable parts, completely hardened and have completed its time of dimensional variation. The construction joints shall be respected.

Instruction for Use

  • Mix ARGOREV STONE with approx. 5.5 L of clean water per 25 kg bag manually or mechanically until a homogeneous, creamy and lump-free mixture is obtained.
  • For mechanical application, it is necessary to establish the optimum ratio between the water flow rate and the amount of mortar that passes through the auger.
  • Spread the mortar with the trowel or project it in cords from bottom to top, leaving an average thickness of not less than 10 mm. and not more than 14 mm. after marking the wall’s cut-outs.
  • Regulate the material to regularise the thickness and proceed to embed the stone by throwing or projecting it onto the surface of the mortar.
  • Embed the stone by crushing it with a trowel and smoothing and regularising the surface.
  • Comply at all times with the provisions of chapter 7 “Site work, preparation and application of rendering” of the UNE EN 13914-1 standard “Design, preparation and application of external rendering and internal plastering”.
