ARGOTEC REFRACTARIO is a refractory mortar formulated with a mixture of aluminous cement, selected aggregates and additives that provide excellent workability and mechanical performance resistant to high temperatures.

Descriptive Memory

The fixing and assembly of refractory bricks shall be carried out with ARGOTEC REFRACTARIO refractory mortar, from the Argos cement derivatives company. The laying substrate shall be sound, clean, free of friable parts, completely hardened and shall have reached the end of its dimensional variation time.

Instruction for Use

  • Knead ARGOTEC REFRACTARIO with 800 mL of clean water per 5 kg bag manually or mechanically until a homogeneous, creamy and lump-free mixture is obtained.
  • Spread the mixture on the substrate or on the workpiece using a trowel.
  • Place the workpiece on the fresh mortar layer and press down.
  • Level with the trowel and proceed with the grouting.


Cleaning of Work Tools
