Non-toxic, hot-applied highly elastomeric modified bitumen waterproofing product. DURADAN ELAST 110/50 bonds and seals reinforced bituminous roofing membranes onto continuous substrates, for a full structural bond. DURADAN ELAST 110/50 is a system component in structural hot melt applications such as inverted waterproofing systems, other protected waterproofing systems and living roof systems.
Instruction for Use
- Substrate should be dry and clean from grease, dirt, debris or any other contaminants.
- Prime surface with bitumen primer hm in accordance with DANOSA UK instructions and allow to dry.
- Remove DURADAN ELAST 110/50 from cardboard packaging and heat to 170-180°C in a thermostatically controlled bitumen boiler.
- Pour hot melt liquid DURADAN ELAST 110/50 in accordance with DANOSA UK instructions, ensuring a minimum mass of 3.00 kg/m².
Warning
- Heating DURADAN ELAST 110/50 to temperatures in excess of 180°C can destroy the polymer modification and should be avoided.
Handling, storage and preservation
- Boxes should be stored upright in a cool, dry area inside original packaging. Do not store in direct sunlight. Block stacks should be no higher than 3 blocks.
