DANOSA FLEECEBOND ADHESIVE is suitable for bonding Danopol HSF fleece-backed membranes to a wide range of substrates. The adhesive forms a strong bond between the membrane and substrate preventing the membrane from lifting. The non-flammable adhesive is also non-foaming for smooth finish and is applied using a lambs wool roller.

Support

Instruction for Use

The instructions for application below are for guidance only. Please always refer to any project specific DANOSA UK recommendations. Adhesion tests should be carried out ideally a minimum of 48-hours prior to the general installation works commencing.
  • Ensure that all surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free from contamination.
  • Metal surfaces should be degreased and any flaking paint and corrosion removed.
  • The adhesive is supplied ready to use. Pour FLEECEBOND ADHESIVE directly and evenly across the insulation board and roll out to a consistent surface with a lambs-wool roller.
  • Allow the solvents to evaporate from the adhesive layer for a minimum of five minutes at 20°C. NB: this time will vary depending on air and deck conditions.
  • Roll the Danopol HSF fleece-backed membrane into the FLEECEBOND ADHESIVE and consolidate with a 20kg water-filled roller to prevent any air entrapment.
