Impridan 600 is a solvent free, moisture curing, single component, polyurethane adhesive for bonding insulation materials on flat roofs.

Scope

  • It is suitable for bonding thermal insulation panels on flat roofs with self-protected waterproofing coverings or under heavy protection. The insulators accepted are Polyisocyanurate (PIR) and polyurethane (PUR), covered with a glass veil, covered with sanded bitumen, covered with aluminum or aluminum kraft; Expanded polystyrene (EPS); Fibered perlite; Phenolic foam and mineral wool and rock wool.

Support

  • Asbestos cement
  • Concrete/Screed.
  • Asphalt sheets.
  • Wooden subsrates.
  • Former self-protected bituminous waterproofing.

Instruction for Use

The conditions of application temperatures and supports are described above.
Impridan 600, ready to use, is applied in 2cm wide beads so that there are at least 2 beads per insulating panel and 3 beads per ml of width of insulation. For consumption and spacing between beads, refer to the conditions described in the Danosa technical reference documents (DTA, specifications).
As the beads are removed, the insulation boards are laid without waiting, applying foot pressure to ensure contact between the underside of the board and the adhesive.
As the curing speed depends on the humidity of the substrate and the air humidity, corrections can still be made within 30 minutes.
Impridan 600 has a slight expansion, it allows to compensate for small irregularities of the support but is not designed to compensate for its defects of flatness.
Impridan 600 should not be applied to a substrate where the temperature is lower than + 5 ºC or higher than + 35 ºC.
Never apply in the presence of frost, snow, rain or strong winds.
